These Terms govern the use of the Roupy app. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to everything here. If you disagree with any part, simply don't use the service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Roupy, you confirm that you've read, understood, and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Together they form the agreement between you and Roupy.

2. What Roupy is

Roupy is a virtual clothing try-on app that uses generative AI to show how a garment would look on you, based on a reference photo of yourself and a photo of the garment you want to try.

The result is a computational generation — a visual approximation, not a precise photographic representation of how the garment would actually fit your body in real life. Use it as inspiration, not as a guarantee.

3. Eligibility and account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal minimum in your country) to use Roupy. Under 18, we recommend use with parental supervision.
  • You agree to provide true and up-to-date information when creating your account.
  • Each person may have one account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity under your account.
  • Report any suspected unauthorized use immediately to roupyapp@gmail.com.

4. Content you submit

4.1 Reference photo and garment photos

  • You represent that you have the right to use the photos you upload — either because you are the person in the photo, or because you have permission from the person depicted.
  • Don't upload photos of third parties without their express consent. Roupy is not a tool to generate images of other people without permission.
  • You grant Roupy a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process your photos solely to generate the looks you request and operate the service.
  • This license terminates when you delete the content or your account — except where we must keep data due to legal obligation.
  • Your photos are not used to train AI models — neither ours nor those of vendors.

4.2 Generated looks

  • Generated looks are tied to your account. You may use them for personal purposes (view, share, decide on a purchase).
  • For commercial use (e.g., using a generated look in advertising), contact us to discuss specific terms.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Roupy to:

  • Generate images of people without their consent (non-consensual deepfakes);
  • Create sexual content, especially involving minors;
  • Produce violent, discriminatory, defamatory content or content that violates third-party rights;
  • Bypass technical limits, reverse engineer, decompile, or perform mass data extraction;
  • Use the service for illegal purposes or contrary to public order.

Violations may lead to immediate suspension of the account, without refund, and notification of authorities when applicable.

6. Subscriptions, credits, and billing

6.1 Free trial

When you create your account, you get 3 free looks to test the app. These looks do not generate any charge: no payment is taken or authorized during the trial.

6.2 Subscription plans

  • Weekly Plan: 20 looks per week, auto-renewing weekly.
  • Monthly Plan: 85 looks per month, auto-renewing monthly.
  • Exact subscription pricing and terms are displayed by the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
  • The quota resets on the billing-cycle anniversary (not on calendar months). Unused looks do not roll over between cycles.

6.3 Top-up credits

  • Top-up credits are one-time consumable purchases, with no renewal.
  • They are consumed after the active plan's quota.
  • Top-ups do not unlock features exclusive to paid plans (such as "Smart Suitcases") — they only add credits.

6.4 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each cycle, on the same payment method, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the cycle ends. Billing is handled by Apple per App Store rules.

7. Cancellation and refund

  • Cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
  • After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the cycle already paid for.
  • Refunds are processed by Apple per App Store policy. Request via reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Top-up credits already consumed are not refundable.
  • Per the EU Consumer Rights Directive, EU customers may have 14 days of withdrawal on digital purchases — contact roupyapp@gmail.com.

8. Roupy's intellectual property

  • The Roupy name, brand, logo, visual identity, code, design, and copy are our property or licensed to us.
  • These Terms grant no right to use our brand beyond what's necessary to use the app.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of Roupy without written authorization.

9. Service availability

  • Roupy is provided "as is" and "as available".
  • There may be scheduled downtime (maintenance) or unforeseen interruptions (failures, attacks, vendor incidents).
  • AI generation may fail, take longer than expected, or produce imperfect results — we don't guarantee quality or that the generated look will faithfully reflect the actual garment.
  • App failures do not consume credits — looks with failed status are not charged.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Roupy is not liable for purchase decisions you make based on generated looks — they are an approximation, not a guarantee of fit, color, or size.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from app use.
  • In any case, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., willful misconduct, fraud, certain consumer protections).

11. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time via the app or by contacting roupyapp@gmail.com.
  • Roupy may suspend or terminate your account if it identifies a breach of these Terms, of the law, or a risk to the platform's integrity.
  • In case of termination for breach, no refund is owed.
  • IP, liability-cap, and venue clauses survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. Material changes are communicated at least 30 days in advance via email and inside the app. You may reject the change by closing your account before the effective date; using the app after that date means accepting the new version.

13. Governing law and venue

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
  • The court of São Paulo, SP has exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer rights to choose their place of domicile (Brazilian Consumer Code art. 101).
